Prototype Drop: The First “Glass” Dial

This is our first experimental “glass” prototype — a bold concept blending a small amount of carbon fiber strands with fine steel mesh, cast into a 3mm die. From there, it’s shaped and hand-finished to reveal a translucent, layered look that plays with light and depth.

Unlike our other dials, this prototype doesn’t feature lume. Why? Because we wanted to showcase a different kind of detail — letting the NH70 movement peek through while the suspended carbon and steel create a unique, glass-like effect. The result is a strange, beautiful sense of depth you don’t usually see in a dial.
